Reuters - Any doubts that the revival of "Hair" that appeared last year in Central Park would lose something in the rarefied indoor confines of a Broadway theater can be put to rest. If anything, the production has even more of a visceral impact at the Al Hirschfeld, where its youthful ensemble puts out so much blazing energy it's no wonder that half the audience feels compelled to join them onstage for the joyous bacchanalian finale.

Police said the man was arrested March 9 at an Omaha, Neb., apartment and charged with conspiracy to sell methamphetamine. Pottawattamie County, Iowa, Sheriff Jeff Danker said the man was brought to his jail on suspicion of being in the country illegally

AP - A sandhill crane that was captured in central Wisconsin with an arrow through her body is due to be released after what a veteran bird rehabilitator calls a truly amazing recovery. Bird watcher Don Darnell from Eden Prairie, Minn., spotted the crane standing by the road near Wisconsin Rapids as he and his wife were driving through last Labor Day weekend.

AP - The staff dietitian at a doctors group is asking the West Michigan Whitecaps to put a warning label on the enormous new hamburger that it's selling this season. Susan Levin of the Washington-based Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine sent a letter to the Grand Rapids minor-league team on Tuesday. She's asking that the 4,800-calorie burger be labeled a "dietary disaster" that increases the risk of cancer and heart disease
