April Fool's Day QR Code Scavenger Hunt

April Fool's Day QR Code Scavenger HuntToday is April Fool's Day, so we're going to make you work for today's feature post. What do you need to do? Go on a little QR code scavenger hunt all over the internet. It's pretty short and not too difficult, so take a little break this Friday and follow the clues.

April Fool's Day QR Code Scavenger HuntDon't have a QR code decoder, or yours can't handle the length of some of the codes in this scavenger hunt? Try using this one.

Instructions

April Fool's Day QR Code Scavenger HuntHow does this work? Well, your first clue is on the right in the form of a QR code. You'll need to decode it to actually ready the clue. Once you get the clue, if you solve it correctly you'll find another QR code clue. That's your next clue. There will be five clues you need to find and one final video clue. To unlock the video clue you'll need to keep track of every site you go to on the scavenger hunt. Just write down every domain name you visit (e.g. Lifehacker is the first one, since the first clue is here, so start by writing lifehacker.com). You'll need them later!

Comments are disabled on this post to prevent anyone from spoiling the surprise at the end, but we promise there is actually something there and we're not trying to trick you. While we like jokes, we're not the biggest fans of mean pranks. If you run into a problem, you'll find contact information at the bottom of this post. Please only ask for help if you really, really need it. You should be able to figure out the clues with a little work—they're not hard, and every one of them deals with something that has appeared on Lifehacker. Good luck!
