Today, we're bringing that idea to the wild world of online video. This is Lifehacker, Episode One: Urban Survival. We've teamed up with internet video network Revision3 to bring this weekly show together. The basic premise is simple: There's rarely a better way to demonstrate how something works, what makes a hack so cool, or how to do something than with video. This show takes ideas we've discussed on the pages of Lifehacker and transforms them to a new medium—hopefully adding a little extra entertainment to the process. On this week's episode, we discuss:
We've been trying to incorporate original video with more of our posts in the past year, but this represents a seriously fun new supplement to the site. It doesn't replace what we do here every day, but our hope is that it will offer a new perspective on a few of our favorite tips. We're new at this whole video thing, and we're eager to hear your feedback. As a group of writers, we're not always the most dynamic on screen, but we're learning.
